Reminder: Soft Submission
Hey Hackers!!!
Less than 30 minutes left to soft submission!!
We hope you had time hacking and are ready to start preparing for submissions! We can't wait to see your hacks! Below is the procedure for submission:
During making soft submission all you need to do here is create at least a project on Devpost with the title and a few lines just to ensure that you have a draft published as a submission to the hackathon. The video and code repo is not mandatory at this point. Projects will not be shortlisted after this point. But if you do not create a project to submit by this deadline, we will not be able to consider it for final submission Example soft submission: https://devpost.com/software/dummy-8p4ynh . Yours should have a real title that you won't change after.
Here are the steps to making a submission on Devpost:
- Go to https://hackitout.devpost.com/
- Go to the "My Projects" section.
- Click on "Create Project" button.
You'll be presented with the following steps:
- Manage your Team: Click on the "Manage Team" header. Enter the email of your team mates to send invites. Accept the invites on your mail. Viola!! There, you have your team.
- Project Overview: The project overview header consists of the primary details of the project and are mandatory to fill.
- Project Details: About the project consists the details of your project. Built with: The tech-stack that you used while creating your project. "Try it out" links: The links to the code and to the deployed project(if deployed). Note: It is mandatory to include the GitHub link to your project repository. Image Gallery: Screenshots of your project. Video demo link: A 2 minute demo link of your project. Note: It is mandatory to include the demo video of your project.
- Additional Info: Contains the name of your University/College.
- Submit: Accept the terms and conditions and submit your project.
